You Snooze, They Lose: Chapter 4

In chapter 4, Burkmark talks about the importance of not only catching the attention of your audience but keeping their attention.  In order to achieve this she uses the acronym CHIMES to keep your audience hooked to your presentation.  The acronym stands for connections, humor, images, music, emotion, stories, and senses.  Although she mentioned that not all chimes might be addressed in a single presentation, she encourages the use of a few to keep the rhythm of your presentation going.
